Team Ethos
At Hafren House our aim is to provide an excellent level of care to you and your family in a relaxed friendly atmosphere . We aim to achieve good dental health for you and your family through preventative dentistry.
As a dental team we pay particular importance to the role of prevention of dental diseases. Minimal Intervention Dentistry (MID) is a concept that we embrace and is supported by the FDI World Dental Federation.

Dr Bhupinder Dawett
Bhupinder Dawett qualified in 1993 from the University of Cardiff and is the Principal Dentist of Hafren House Dental Practice. He completed a Masters in Dental Public Health at the University of Manchester, and then a PhD in Minimum Intervention Dentistry at the University of Sheffield. Bhupinder is also the Oral and Dental Speciality lead for the NIHR East Midlands Regional Research Delivery Network and was a past In-Practice Research fellow and then a Doctoral Research fellow with the NIHR. He currently divides his time between clinical practice, teaching and research, and is also a clinical lecturer on the Master’s in Advanced Minimum Intervention and Restorative Dentistry at the Faculty of Dentistry, Oral and Craniofacial Sciences at King’s College London. He has lectured widely on Minimum Intervention Dentistry, and Oral and Dental research. Bhupinder is also a member of the Derbyshire Local Dental Committee and Local Dental Network. In his spare time he enjoys golf, badminton & squash, and spending time with his wife and 2 children.

Dr Sarah Young
Sarah completed undergraduate dental training in 2016 from King’s College, London and has worked in general dental practice ever since. Sarah is actively involved in oral health research. She also teaches on the distance-learning master’s in advanced Minimum Intervention Dentistry at the Faculty of Dentistry, Oral and Craniofacial sciences at Kings College, London. Sarah has been working as a dentist at Hafren House Dental Practice since 2017. She was an NIHR In-Practice Research fellow and completed her Masters in Dental Public Health in 2024 at the University of Sheffield. In her spare time Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and little boy, and when she gets time, loves cycling, running, and hiking.

Dr Roya Rashidi
Roya joined our practice in April 2024 offering NHS and Private general dental care. Having qualified as a Dental Surgeon in 2012, Roya moved to Nottingham where she completed her Vocational Training. She then began her three year dental core training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham, where she developed an interest in Oral Surgery, gaining valuable skills during these years. In addition to English Roya also speaks 3 other languages in Persian, Turkish and Azeri.

Alicia has around 4 years of experience in the dental field. She first began her journey as a trainee dental nurse, working in a mixed private and NHS practice. She further explored the dental field and began her Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy course, becoming a University of Sheffield graduate in 2024. Alicia is passionate about helping patients maintain healthy smiles, supported by her knowledge on oral hygiene. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and spaniels.
